About the Band Boosters

The George Washington Middle School Band Boosters is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting the band program at George Washington Middle School (GWMS) in Alexandria, VA. Our members are the families of our band students, and we partner with community members and local businesses who share our belief in the value of music education.

The funds we raise help cover supplies, sheet music, equipment, and performance trips. These resources give our young musicians more opportunities to learn, perform, build confidence, and enjoy making music together.

The GWMS Band Boosters is a registered 501(c)(3) organization.

Our Fundraising Goal

This year, we're working to raise $14,200 to support our band students. Every contribution large or small, helps us get closer to making sure every student who wants to has the opportunity participate in band.
